C'mon man you know better than that. Why would people buy a Mercedes or Audi over the BMW? Maybe because people like variety. Different strokes for different folks. Not to mention with these mods each product really hits a specific target market, each has their own strengths and weaknesses. Ask yourself why the majority of the people on this board have gone with Vishnu. They have a highly advanced product giving you the most power and most options. That alone SSTT, JB, Xede, etc. can't touch regardless of the price or customer service.

I know a pretty good reason when it comes to 91 octane:

(this is procede btw, in case you are the guy who started this thread and don't know much about the 335i)

Connect TMAPout to the point where the 1k and 330k ohm resistor join. This is called a voltage divider. Fully passive and costs less than 1 dollar to make. Maybe another $10 if you want to use BMW pins to avoid any cutting or splicing.

You can raise or lower boost by changing the 330ohm resistor. Lower values will drop boost. Higher values will raise boost.

Oh yeah, don't forget to bypass one solenoid when doing so.

Not the ideal tune by any means but it will put down just as much power, on pump gas, as the other non-microcontroller based products out there. For less than the price of a Big Mac.

Shiv
HMMMMMMMMM. thats a tough one.... Big horsepower vs Big Mac

more butt dyno vs more butt period.....

the debate goes on

If you rent a commericial building, put some fancy labels on your product, and charge $500, more people will buy it!

Marketing would be a picture of yourself in front of someone else's commercial space with your business name photo-shopped onto their sign

I already did. See post #22.

Here's a picture of the quick and dirty Happy Meal I made today. Took a few minutes. I modified a bypass plug so all I needed to do to test it was unplug the PROcede and plug this sucker in its place.

Wire on the left is Ground. Two on the right are MAPin and MAPout.

I have a JBS2 and am thrilled with the performance. Price point is perfect for me regardless of what is inside the box. I can't make it and Vishnu doesn't sell his Happy Meal, so the JBS2 works for me.

Having said all of this, this thread is utterly stupid. Some silly comments from the Vishnu camp too.

Lock this shiet up.
