Damn! N52 is def wolf in sheep's clothing.
Turbo size is also a consideration, but yes - the N52s head outflows the N52. With some cam timing changes, I'm sure he could have a better powercurve as well.

Mid Boost 15psi 498hp and 421tq

High Boost 19psi 569hp and 500tq

High and Low boost difference

Only got three pulls on high boost when a weak point on the engine started showing its ugly head. Started pushing coolant out of the expansion tank cap. The cylinder head is lifting under high boost and pushing pressure into the cooling system, so will need to replace the head bolts with studs and retorque the head. Turned it back down to 15psi and did a couple more pulls and it's still ok...

This engine is BEAST!

I'll post some better dyno graph pics with notes when I get them on a jump drive and will also post a video or two this weekend with the runs.

DigiDon Dude you must be freaking stoked! Congrats

Also are these numbers with the big or small turbine housing?

I see from your youtube vid it's the large housing. Not a bad torque curve considering but I'm curious how much sooner in the revs your torque would hit with the smaller housing.

Well, this is great. Good work, Digidon. You're willingness to go the route less traveled is really refreshing and the results speak for themselves. The powerband looks like it would create an experience more fun than the new M4/M3. Incredible.

Makes me very excited to see where BPC takes their turbo kit.

How many miles have you put on this block at these power levels? Maybe you already mentioned somewhere, and I'm missing it.

quit your job and start building these.

They will sell, they will sell well.

You may need a hi boost fix for the heads and keeping them down, but 570rwhp & 500rwtq for a N52/328 is fa king huge.

Even the low boost settings demolish the AA blower setup possibilities, they havent broke 350rwhp yet.

You got skills man, for sure

yea....

His lowest low boost dyno is 460/370rw

Post up a AA dyno close to that.

Perusing the n54 dyno thread - a lot of FBO N54s pushing 20+psi aren't hitting the power/torque of this build at 12-15 psi. Volumetric Efficiency (and efficiency in general) is everything.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Yes I am beyond excited about these numbers. I was floored after the first low boost pull on the dyno! Had to do a double and triple take of that... Then it just started getting better...

I really need an ECU reflash to take advantage of better timing and raising the rpm limit and removing speed cut among other things.

The fuel is also pretty conservative as it seamed to like leaner AFR than I was giving it. So probably will make higher numbers with a leaner tune, just trying to be safe at the moment.

I posted an uncut unedited dyno pull on youtube.

Sorry for the crazy Jamaicans on my team making all kinds of noise at the end of the vid... They were pretty excited...

Well, AA doesn't make a blower, so you both are right.

Dude, AA does not have supercharger or turbocharger kit for N52. You are confusing EAS (ESS) and AA.

AA only offers a tune and exhaust.

Great results.

Interesting power curves. At 4500rpm the torque flattens out. I wonder what causes this and how to eliminate the flattening.

?Timing retard, detonation, excessive IATs?

Why would you want to eliminate it? A flat torque curve is the hallmark of a BMW engine. Flat torque × increasing RPM means more power.

When it 'plateaus' and flattens out like this, something can be holding it back.
Like a restrictive air filter, air inlet, intake manifold, cam timing, exhaust, etc. As well as increasing IATs, decreasing fuel pressure, decreased fuel flow thru the injector due to increasing boost pushing against the fuel trying to come out of the injector, leaning out. Just saying. I like to see a curve with a crest and peak and a descend.
Or maybe it is just tire slippage on the dyno rollers.
