Believe me, there are enough characters in the group coming to UK3 to make our own entertainment for the evening. The curry at UK1 was a blast and no one was even drinking because of driving home!!
You said it, MF!

There are enough 'characters' amongst us to certainly make a memorable night of it!

A group booking discount would be great, but as usual, we really need to sort out the 'definites' from the 'undecideds'.

It's good to hear from you again, Pads- hope you are keeping well.

Having Matt & red255 as meet photographers will make things even more enjoyable.

I'll get some 'organisational' work sorted for the meet, over the weekend.

As a note, I'd like for us to have some form of sponsorship for our meet, if only to boost numbers.
As the regulars know, I've tried to get BMW Marketing involved in UK2, but they just produce excuses, unfortunately.

DMS were willing to be involved with some form of advertising for UK2, but a lack of numbers & the ultimate unavailability of Simon, from the less expensive e-maps, stopped things working out.

If anyone can even get something sorted with a local 'stealership', then it would be of help.

All the best.

For lodging, we should try to find a place that can accommodate all of us. Some places may not be able to house fifteen or twenty singles and five or so couples. And it would have to have a carpark big enough.

Of course, not everyone that comes on Saturday will stay overnight. Then they won't know what they missed until the photos get published as they most assuredly will. And some that do stay may wish they hadn't -- but it will be too late.

You said it, Floyd!

In my opinion & probably mine alone, this shot just hasn't done the rounds anywhere near enough!

I did tell you that yellow didn't suit you, when I gave you the parking ticket, didn't I MF?!

Perhaps we should make UK3 a fancy dress party?!

Did Jeremy Clarkson not pull the knob off in a Porsche (was it a 911 or Boxster?) in an episode of Top Gear a while back??

Can't think why I suddenly thought of JC

We should start a list:

I'd be very concerned about anyone who 'pulled off their knob' while driving ... can't be safe:

so to date me little beemer has had a complete new drivers side mirror cos some little monkey kicked it off, it still has large dent in driver side passenger door (a bigger monkey), two dents in roof where some (gorilla) broke into me unlocked car (nicking me cd's). It is on its third set of rears and second set of fronts and now has lost the housing cover for the driver side mirror. its covered 43k now since Nov 2005

Who has a bigger hard luck story in the UK for their e90??????

I could have done wi a few last night, as I said I was in barking last night I really hate driving in London. For all the miles I do and the stick I give me car I am a pretty considerate driver to other motorists on the road, but I hate driving in London its just a free for all.

I'll be there at UK3, will give the motor a wash at local Russian mafia car wash, can't promise anything else, I sold the MB, it went quick as i expected I am going to look at a V reg 323i tomoz sounds like a good car, if I buy it I will advertise it on here.

Great Nathan! Sign-up here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/calend...ea=attend&e=82 which is the official register!

The day will be similar to UK1 and UK2 - a general get together, we have a BBQ, mingle, take pictures, admire each others cars, do donuts in the car park, drive on two wheels, then go for a mad drive in the afternoon where everyone gets lost and those with sat nav realise its rubbish and/or there are more than one village in Derbyshire with the same name! Its always good fun!

Many of us will be staying over nearby if you want to join us in the evening too for some drinks. The day has previously ended in a curry and then everyone driving back home, but its always a little rushed. So this time, some will stay the night and make the most of the evening too with another hardcore drive on Sunday morning!

OK- call me a mad Rottweiler-traffic warden-cross if you like, but I fancy putting my name at the top of the list, OK!
