AGM battery??

Guys I know this may be hard to tell from the picture but is this an AGM battery or a regular battery? And if it's a regular battery? What type of battery is it?

When you guys coded with Carly did you mean pressing the battery registration. Or actually reconfiguring the voltage, amp etc??? Based on the new battery specs????

you do the 'battery registration' within the carly app. it will cost you, 10-15$ I forget. You then select standard or agm battery and then the aH rating of the battery.

It was $10.
You select battery type and AH.
Press the button. Done.

Question

Which Carly do I need to get? I have a 2011 328i. I want to register the battery myself also. Do I just need to buy the iPhone app? thanks

I too installed an H8 AGM battery from Advance Auto Parts (TRT41 discount code get you $40.00 off) and then used the Carly app to register it. Worked like a charm.
