The 313 look good on that, but I hope it is not gonna look THAT HIGH!!!

What are shipping blocks?

Shipping blocks are hard rubber blocks inserted in the suspension to increase the cars height for shipping.
This reduces the chance of damage when being driven onto or off ships and car carrier trucks.

They are removed before delivery to the customer and the car then rides at its correct height

"With a starting price of only $57,200, the exciting MY2011 335i xDrive Special Edition includes nearly $13,000 in optional equipment for only $5,100. Not only will this edition appeal to the value-minded customer, the exclusive features such as Jerez Black Metallic Paint (M3 only), Carbon Leather Interior Trim (M3 only) and 19" Alloy Wheels - Style 313M (335is Coupe/Cab) are restricted to this edition and have never been offered on a 3 Series Sedan ever before. A "BMW Individual" badge will be affixed to the trunk lid to identify this special edition. By incorporating the port-installed Stage 2 Power Kit and BMW Performance Parts cat-back exhaust system, the 335i xDrive Special Edition appeals to the performance-oriented customer as well.

Please note that the 335i xDrive Special Edition will be equipped with the BMW Performance Parts Stage 2 Power Kit. This is not to be confused with the lesser Stage 1 Power Kit. The Stage 2 Power Kit includes additional parts for engine cooling, ensuring that the vehicle is fully prepared for on-track use.
The Stage 1 Power Kit includes:
DME Software Tuning, increasing output to 320hp and 332 lb-ft of torque (Automatic) / 317 lb-ft (Manual)
The Stage 2 Power Kit includes:
Stage 1 Power Kit
Additional water cooler (aluminum), including necessary plumbing
Higher output electric fan, including necessary electronics & wiring
Air Ducts in front fascia (replacing fog lights)
With the Stage 2 Power Kit, the 335i xDrive Special Edition now has more torque than any competitor in its segment. Underscoring BMW EfficientDynamics technologies, the 335i xDrive Special Edition represents a significant fuel savings over core competitors. Based on average consumption, the 335i xDrive Special Edition Sedan can save customers $30-$40/month in fuel over key competitors. Further building value is standard BMW Assist with 1-year Safety and Security subscription. This feature is simply not available on any competitive vehicles with the exception of Mercedes’ TeleAid option ($1,200). BMW also leads the industry with a 12-month Sirius Satellite Radio Subscription while others only include up to a 3-month trial. For peace-of-mind, BMW also offers 4-year/80k no-charge scheduled maintenance. A feature not rivaled by any competitor.
The outstanding value, combined with the exclusive and performance-oriented character of the 335i xDrive Sedan is what makes the 3 Series Sedan the benchmark for all other sedans in the market. Retailer demand has far exceeded the factory capacity of 250 units and retail allocations have been distributed accordingly. Furthermore, due to plant capacity, Jerez Black (normally reserved for M3 only) production is extended from the originally communicated July/August production time frame, with some units planned for September/October production. All Ruby Black Metallic production can be accommodated in July/August as originally communicated. Since the Power Kit and Exhaust Systems are installed at Autoport, please allow an additional two-week lead-time for delivery to your retail facility.
The Optional Equipment Sheet is attached. Pricing will be available in ONE-EIGHTY and Reynolds & Reynolds systems as of July 14th, 2011. Residual values and rates will be announced under separate cover.
Best regards,
Jeremy Chiu
Product Planning Manager "
Such a trunk badge would not be factory fitted but would be fitted by BMW Canada.
So the cars in the previous pictures would still get it fitted later

Its quite strange that BMW Canada want to fit such a badge as BMW Individual cars dont usually have them

Recent Peek of someones Ruby Black delivery. Not sure if it had been PDI'd.

The fog light actually has an intake beside it to what looked like a cooler or rad. The middle part of the bumper had a large intake too, I think this is the typical M Sport bumper

As far as I know, Birchwood was allotted 3. 2 Jerez, 1 Ruby. All three had Nav Package. There will be both a Jerez and Ruby in Auto and 1 Jerez in Manual (mine).

So far, all signs point to the fact that the Jerez's and manual's are the final part of production. Mine has a VIN and from what I understand is now in a crate ready for departure on a boat (its either on the dock or boat today).

Anybody has driven one?

Still no sign of any additionnal badge?

What do you guys think of the fog lights? I think I would have liked it better without any fogs.

My sa didn't call me for an update and mine is Jerez AND manual! Can't wait!

I expect they won't call you until the shipment of whatever they get arrives which shouldn't be for another 3-4 weeks or so.

Good luck

I've been told it has a lot of 1M feel in terms of power. Not quite the push in your seat feeling of 1M, but very fast acceleration (he thought it would be a close 0-60 time, he drove the auto). I don't like the fogs either. I didn't see a badge but I also didn't look for it.

Could you take a pic of the front wheels to so how high it looks with the 19'' ? Thanks!

Have you noticed if on the wheels there is the "BMW PERFORMANCE" stamp?

Unless you get the Style 313 rims from the parts department, it'll have the "BMW Performance" letters and no ///M badge

For the Special edition and 335is (style 313M), it only has the ///M badge on it

I believe those are 18's for the x-drive. When I got my 2011 last year, I tried everything to get me the 313s but there was no way. Of course unless I buy it separately

For the e9x they do not put 19s on the x-drive as an OEM.

The whole point of this thread is the special edition x-drive that comes with the 19" wheels from the 335IS.

Anybody had better promotions/deals? I think in the beginning of October we need to update with our dealerships for that.

Did those vehicles have "M" wheels?

Seems to be a huff puff regarding whether they are M wheels or not.

If only I could afford one of these... My E90 328xi mt will have to suffice until I graduate and can buy my M car. I pick mine up Oct 8. Bsm on black dakota 6mt executive edition.

I've got $5 that they are not wider than 265. Seems to be the BMW preferred width on E9X's no matter how wide the rim.
