Fancy restraunts in Vancouver?

Anyone know any really good restraunt in downtown or anywhere in vancouver. I am planning to take my gf out for dinner on valentine's day and don't noe a super good and interesting place to go. Plz tell me the best restraunts you know doesn't matter how much can be really expensive. Thanks in advance!

1. Bistro Pastis: on 4th ave in Kits (close to Caper's), entries about about $35-45
- excellent atmosphere and wine list
2. Gastropod: on 4th ave and Burrard in Kits, similar price as Bistro Pastis
- very modern design inside, portions a bit small, famous cook
3. Chambar: Close to Tinseltown and BC Place, entres about $25-35
- great seafood and mussels, a bit lower price point, great louge area, wine and drinks list, portions are decent for the price, great value, good atmosphere as well, award winning bartenders...

those are my few favourite places i go to, perhaps others can chime in

Quattro (Italian)

valentines day dinner you should start booking...and the list above is good enough...

have u sign up the www.opentable.com ?u can make the reservation online,also if u use opentable to make the reservation then u will receive the credit point.i think u can get $26 if u have $2000 point.

haha i tried to book it no luck... ended up booking a placei in horseshoe bay with good view.

If you want something new and original try "Market" on Thurlow/Alberni in the base of the Shangri-La, I've heard nothing but good things.
