Even with an extra 25hp you're still atleast 30hp high.

Your numbers are from a high reading dyno, nothing wrong with that. If I posted a 420whp dyno of my car I'd be getting the same disbelief.
I hear you there is nothing more for me to do is to run somebody with the same horsepower that I have "dynoed" at. then i guess i will have proven myself... any takers please let me know the date and time....

Honestly, the best thing to do is just hit up a track. Post up a 118+ trap speed and you'll get some believers.

I finished the FBO install this past Saturday, I've never heard of a Dyno open on Sundays or late nights Mon-Fri. I'm contemplating getting ProTuned Maps, so I'd get dyno numbers from that.

I'm still at a complete loss at how you can say your car has about 165 HP/230 TQ gain over the OEM 300/300 setup.

Again maybe cobb isn't as good as it is made out to be. People over here bash JB# for it being all types of shit including a copycat but he makes power and has a couple of records under his belt, and over at the other website they do the same thing to shiv... There is no win for anyone anywhere no matter what there situation is...

Maybe it is a freak of nature most of the people that I know including tech at the dealer dnt know how and why the car is so fast without meth..

Please dnt judge me as you know absolutely jack shit about me, I will re dyno the car at a different dyno and I will also get it to the track but seeing as i dnt have an lsd my times won't be that good bcuz i am going to spin out of the hole and through second and third gear... My question to you is why won't the challenges happen? if you are so confident that my dyno is inflated why not challenge with a car with the same whp figures. that should put an ent to all the speculation.

Why do you have to "run" somebody? Just book it on another dyno to see if the numbers match. Nobody is disputing the figures on the printout as they are there in black and white, what people are disputing now is the biggest variable... The dyno!

Your car is far and away pulling the biggest numbers for the state of tune when compared with the average across a broad range of members so really you owe it to yourself to confirm these numbers because at the end of the day nobody gives a f@ck about you or your car, we have our own issues. What these knowledgeable people do care about is and unfortunately this is reeking of it. The fact that there has been a lot of misinformation from the start, you seem unwilling to listen to or accept any constructive criticism/advice and have now reduced yourself to throwing insults and turning your thread into a cock jousting competition merely fuels the flames...(no pun intended......well )

Get rid of the attitude, grow up a bit and learn to get on with complete strangers. Only then will you earn some

Your right you dont have a clue, perhaps you shoudl go back and talk with Scott Leandres @ Dinan if he know who Dimitri with the 335iS that lives in Florida.

My 335iS was the very FIRST and ONLY 335iS to receive Stage 3 approved by Steve Dinan himself

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ht=Dinan+Stage

You can even Google Dinan DCT 335iS Stage 3 and I am all over the place

The following are approximate area and range of where teh various Dinan stages is suppose to be.

Dinan Stage 3 Claim:

Quote:
98 More Horsepower / 129 More lb-ft of Torque
Stage 3 Performance Engine Software safely increases turbo-boost pressure and is optimized to take full advantage of the High Performance Intercooler. The boost is tapered at the higher levels to keep from over heating and damaging the turbos. With a peak horsepower of 398 at 5700 rpm and the peak torque of 429 lb-ft at 4300 rpm as tested with Dinan High Capacity Oil Cooler System and Dinan Free Flow Exhaust is a monumental increase over the stock 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque BMW quotes.

http://www.dinancars.com/shop/D900-3...de.aspx#page=1
The number quoted is CRANK HP number NOT WHEEL HP ! There is a 17% drive train loss of power on a roller dyno ie Mustang or Dynojet per Dinan.

398 crank hp -17% drive train loss = 341 whp

Dinan Stage 2 Claim:

Quote:
378 Horsepower

415 lb-ft of Torque

http://www.dinancars.com/shop/D900-3...IS.aspx#page=1
378 crank hp -17% drive train loss = 323 whp ((((YOUR BASELINE)))). Even taking into consideration, your DPs would have only added 15-20 whp which still barely beats Stage 3

I will leave it as that......

This is true, but say i put it on another dyno and come up with the same numbers its going to be another flame, and just because so n so car can't do it mine can't either.

My fellow e90 post member I agree with you when you say my numbers are high and unbelievable as I said the same thing when then came up, Shit I was almost in tears ... As you say everybody has there own problems, and yes no one should give a fuck about my car as I am the one paying for it along with the rest of my bills, You would think that on a forum where we all have 1 or more common goal people would be more supportive or even more helpful as oppose to telling you that you are full of shit. I never started this thread with the intentions of racing anyone but usually a person can do/say so much until he would have to prove himself by taking it out on someone else. I have been on this forum for 3 years now and never had to deal with this nonsense. The only way to earn with some people on here is to put them on a kill story list and then people will finally say he wasn't lying...

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ht=Dinan+Stage

You can even Google Dinan DCT 335iS Stage 3 and I am all over the place

I am in no way disputing that may be you are or maybe not we both have the same tune except i have a jb+ stacked on top. I will support you being that you run dinan.

The following are approximate area and range of where teh various Dinan stages is suppose to be.

Dinan Stage 3 Claim:

The number quoted is CRANK HP number NOT WHEEL HP ! There is a 17% drive train loss of power on a roller dyno ie Mustang or Dynojet per Dinan.

398 crank hp -17% drive train loss = 341 whp

Yes this is for stage 3 and they state that @ 5500rpm its 350rwhp and 392fwhp as you stated
and that includes :
"Below (Figure 2) shows the results for the Dinan 335i with the software package and race-only X pipe and Free Flow Exhaust. Peak power is increased to 392 FWHP @ 5500 RPM with 11.5 psi of boost and peak torque is up to 429 lb-ft @ 3700 RPM with 13 psi of boost pressure." Also the ic of course...
Taken from the website

Dinan Stage 2 Claim:

378 crank hp -17% drive train loss = 323 whp ((((YOUR BASELINE)))). Even taking into consideration, your DPs would have only added 15-20 whp which still barely beats Stage 3

I will leave it as that......
You say 378 they say 384

Also from there website:

Real World Results
Above (Figure 1) shows the results from the dyno test at Dinan headquarters. The chart shows the stock RWHP and the FWHP versus the Dinan RWHP and FWHP. The max hp gain from the Dinan 335i is 79 FWHP @ 4300 RPM and the max hp from the Dinan 335i is 384 FWHP @ 5700 RPM with 11.3 psi of boost. The maximum torque is 421 lb-ft @ 4300 rpm, a gain of 96 ft-lbs over stock running 13.2 psi of boost.

Now at 5700 rpm It say that it is 342whp and 384fwhp with:

2008 E90-92 335 SOFTWARE 85MPH COOLING FAN FOR RADIATOR AND INTERCOOLER Dynopack
93 Octane

This is taken directly from "Press Release 335I software REV A EDITED.PDF Page 4 of 4. If you dnt believe me I can email it to you just pm me your email address...

Internet arguments are hilarious!

OP - Are you really worried what we, random strangers, think? Worried enough to spend more dough on another dyno run? If you're happy with the performance, let it ride.

Everyone else - His dyno might read a little high, so what? He's not going for any records, nor did he ask for help understanding his numbers. His "higher" numbers aren't going to affect your life in any substantial way. Let him have his moment. Chill.
