Like the title says...besides for including later model years in the later editions, is there any difference in the actual content of say a 06-08 E90 between the original and two later editions? Just wondering if the newest version is worth it if I have an older model, like if they added more repair procedures, or if the content is exactly the same still.

I would bet that it has update part numbers and even revised steps. I'm not quite sure what version mine is, but for the rear brakes it still has the step used in the E46 to adjust the parking brake by removing the e-brake boot and adjusting the tension spring.
