Hows it going guys..I've been creeping around the site for a few weeks now. I just recently acquired a nearly immaculate Jet Black 2007 E90 335i a few weeks ago. Just thought to look up for guys in my area. I'm currently at Bragg in 4th BCT and loving every minute of it....
On a more related note. I have a couple things already done to the previously nearly all stock E90. It had some LUX 5.0's in it when i got it and some black line tail lights. Other than that, i bought a clean slate. In the short time i've had it, i've already darkened the front ambers, done a version of both the golf tee and the lego rear fog light mods, ordered a coding cable, and just bought a JB4... So far i'm thrilled with the car and can't wait to see what all its capable of... |

I will keep that in mind. I like the sound as of now. although i am new to the car. You are probably right about wanting more at some point. Just gotta work on it a little a time seeing as the wife thinks that mods are a waste...

I could probably give it a shot once i worked out all the kinks with trial and error on my car. Seems like its a somewhat steep learning curve trying to get all the programs to work and do the proper steps. it may be easier to understand once i have the cable in hand and actually hooked up and going through the menus hand and hand with the tutorials. I dont doubt that i will be able to do it considering my auto and electronics background. Its just the matter of time to initially figure it out.

Since you have a 328i, I'd start off with rims and a drop. 328i's are very limited on performance parts.

nice! where did you get your FRM 3?? I can't seem to find them anywhere....haven't looked very extensively though. I was kind of disappointed when i finally got my cable and programs to work just to learn that i can't do most of what i wanted to because i have the old FRM. build date is 11/2006 i think. kind of sucks.
As for what i did manage to accomplish with what i had.. -Windows and sunroof closed with key fob. -Mirrors fold in and out with key fob -Digital speedo -Corner light delete -driver and passenger Seat Belt ding 'delete' -"accept" message on idrive delete -couple other small mods i can't remember. all in all the process is pretty straight forward after i finally got the software set up right. continuing to mess with it, and looking for me a FRM 3...or at least a 2... |

Gotta agree with the cosmetic mods; drop and wheels. As far as performance mods I have been extremely pleased with AA. Makes the car much more fun to drive with marginal gains in HP/tqe. 3 stage intake manifold is another option. Though, even with a FBO 328, it does not even come close to the potential of an N54/N55.

Moving back to Ft. Bragg after 10 short yrs in Germany, is there still a meet @ the Applebee's every Sat evening? Taking back a Montego Blue E90 unmoded for now.
