Thumbs up Pic request: sedan trunk spoilers

I have a jet black sedan... And am looking for a trunk spoiler.

I either want a Performance style or mtech (also called OEM style) spoiler...
Not interested in the subtle m3 style, or that weird CSL add on thing ebay vendors sell. Would like a real CSL trunk, but I am being cheap haha... As I might not like any spoiler and end up taking it back off.

Not sure if I want CF or painted for my jet black... I don't have any other CF, but that wouldn't stop me.

I've loked on eBay and notice slight differences in many of the spoilers that are called the same thing, also can't also be sure I'll get exactly what is pictures.

I really like the genuine oem bmw cf spoiler, but Im not paying $500... If you take notice, it seems to stick out a little further and curves more like a CSL style... Many of the ebay oem/mtechs do not seem to have the same shape... They are flatter and don't stick out as much.

So post of your pictures and please post the link or vendor you bought it from.
Side views and pictures showing your whole car would be helpful. Close ups don't do me much good. Thanks!

Sedans only! Coupes have different styles.

was in the same situation as you were. I would just suggest waiting for a csl trunk to be in your color on the used market; however, the performance spoiler doesn't look half bad.

Yea, I've been looking for a used CSL trunk... but in all reality, I don't want to sink too much $ into my car since I hope to find an e92 M3 within the next year I like to purchase.

Many of the CSL trunks I've seen go for $400-600+ and am thinking a $100-200 spoiler would be a better option...

The performance spoiler looks good, I agree. I just need to make up my mind between that one, and the OEM-style spoiler which I help people will post some pictures of their cars with them.
Most of the google searches I've done come up with close-up views of the spoilers, or from weird angles where you can't really tell how far it sticks out.... also am looking for links to where they got them, as I am quite particular about which one I would like to buy

I've seen those on ebay...

On the above link for the "OEM (Mtech) style" ... see how it looks flatter than this one:

See how this one seems to be curved and sticks out a little more? this is what I am after...

In my opinion the oemstyle one looks too bulky. The performance spoiler is definitely more sleeker.

Bump for more pictures.

I am 95% leaning with OEM style... but want the one like the picture of the red sedan above... not the "flatter" m-tech style which doesn't stick out as much, or look as good...

What can I do to the Carbon fiber to protect it more? Im not sure how "well" the ebay spoilers are clear coated to protect from fading and UV rays.

I can vouch for the quality of the emotors2000 product. Installed mine almost a year ago. Absolutely no issue with its paint quality.
