That's not true. BMW Canada is selling LOTS of E90's still and dominates the market in this segment compared to Mercedes and Audi.

This is going to be expensive (335's *start* in the low 50 thousands in Canada), but I know people will pay. My dealership told they've just had the best month they ever had.

buying an IS i think is unreasonable unless it really means alot to you as a collectors car or somthing. if you just took the extra cash you spent on your IS and bought a bumper and GIAC or a jb4 youd have an almost identical car...only faster lol.

That is a pretty sick setup. Not sure it will be worth what they charge, but sick.

True i could have gotten a normal 335i and gotten an aftermarket bumper to have the same look, true i couldve gotten an aftermarket tune to have the power increase, true i could have gotten an aftermarket exhaust to get the sound, but there sill is one thimg that cannot be bought aftermarket, and that is the dct transmission.

The whole point of the IS to me is to have the dct, it is one of my main criterias when i was shopping for this car, a fast shifting automatic, it was the IS or a S4.

Would u spend 10k on a brand new 335i 6AT and have it converted to dct? I dont think so, n besides i dont think its possible.

Also, the price i paid for the IS is only 5K more than a 335i both equaly loaded so y not?

At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if they dumped an N55 into a M3 and made it a special edition

19 inch wheels? The perfect wheel package for most Canadian roads and their pot holes. Hopefully they include the tire and rim warranty as standard equipment.

Oh and Carbon Leather, awesome. BMW I'll have $10k back from my 2011 M3 please...

x2. I don't want 19" if the wall is narrower than my 18".

If it wasn't for cosmetic, I'd even jump back in an heartbeat to 17".

I posted news about this a while ago over here:
http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...156&highlight=

I have a line on a Jerez Black loaded with Manual. The dealers had to have the orders placed by May 27. They started production in July.

The prices as I've been estimated is 57k CAD for the (ZRP/ZRS) package. The "base" package comes quite well equipped with comfort package. To get auto (ZER) its 1800, to get the nav with better stereo (ZRW) is something like 4200 CAD.

These are initial estimates. The poster missed a page , maybe I'll scan mine. The point of this model is to compete with the S4 which is selling like hotcakes over here. It even says "Priced below normal".

I personally don't care for the 19" rims, dunno why, looks odd on the sedan. I really like the 335xi M Sport 18 rims

No, wish I did. Great people who work there. Extremely helpful from my experience. When I bought my current car (328xi), for 3 months prior I test drove over 16 different models from Honda (Si, Accord), VW (GTI), Audi (A4), Nissan (Altima, Maxima), Infiniti (G35), Lexus (IS250AWD) and a few more that are skipping my mind. I tried various auto's manuals (every car I've ever owned other than the 328 a manual). My car previous was a Civic EX Loaded manual. I *HATED* that car.

By far, the best experience I had was at Birchwood BMW. It helps the car was so good comparatively. At the time, I got to test drive 6 different 328, RWD, AWD, manual, auto, coupe, sedan models. I swear, they'd let me test drive the beauty M3 on the lot if I asked (knowing I can't quite afford it).

Right now, I'm deciding on the mentioned Jerez Black 335xi Sedan, 335is (Le Mans Blue), or an Audi S4.

the 335iS is dreamy, but I live in "Winter"peg. With out a LSD, even with winter tires the car can get dicey. I *LOVE* my 328xi but wish it was a manual, even though the auto is "ok" once you get the pedal feel down, its still just lacks that "special something".

The 335 Special Edition is an "almost" iS, and I love the interior trim. I'm waiting to see what the Jerez looks like in person because I REALLY, REALLY like Le Mans Blue.

Worst part, if I get the spec edition, I may swap the 19" iS rims for the 18" 193 MSport rims.

+1

Birchwood BMW is a dream to deal with. My family has purchased our last three cars from them, two of which were custom orders. My sister's 09 E92 328i, her husband's X5M, and my dad's 11 E92 335i. The service guys there are also really good. By far the best dealership experience we've had in a while (coming from Lexus, Infiniti, and Range Rover).

Kinda regretting not waiting a little bit to order my 335i...but I agree with some previous posts that the 19" Rims aren't a selling feature on Canadian roads!

Happy with my purchase though!

that ruby color is nice.
WHen I bought my 'ol ZHP, I didn't care the body was changing. I just liked the car so much. I would do the same with E9X.

This is a great car for Canadians.. xdrive as well as the "is" spec chip (I mean engine.. err.. whatever). My dad will likely be interested.

Who cares. The new F30 is coming out in the fall. Why waste money on an outgoing model and get killed in resale value?

I'd argue that the difference in interest rate (paid over time) and incentive discounts will outweigh the delta amount lost (relatively ) to resale value. Canadians usually see stupid high rates on new models.
