Fitment help needed! 18x9 et28 square on LCI

Hey everyone. Looking at a set of HRE r40s. They are 18x9 et28 square. How would fitment be on a e90 lci xdrive. I'm not looking for some wide tires since it's just a daily commuter car.
Will it fit!? Lol

It should be okay, but you will need to keep an eye on the alignment for fit. I have 18x9 et 31 with 255s all around. Front needed camber to actually get the tires really into the fender. Rear is also pretty tight, I actually had a minor rub on the driver side (but it only happened once). With 3mm more offset I would keep an eye on it.

I'm planning on going with some 235s. This is a daily that sees 30k miles a year lol so I don't need anything aggressive. I just love the wheels. You think I'll be able to get away with a 235 tire without camber mod

Minor rub with 255 on 9" et31? Either you have 0 camber or really worn out suspension components. I have 275 on 10" et25 and experiencing minor rub. The size difference between the two is huge.

With 235s you should be fine. And for anyone interested, I have ST coilovers installed in May (rear near max height) and -1.8 of camber.

That's not lci...lci will fit these but watch out for the fronts. They will poke even with 235 rubber. 225 will be much safer. I can fit wheels of this spec in my e90 lci xdrive with room to spare, but my front camber is nearly -3. With stock alignment you will have trouble if you try 235 *depending on tire, as they all vary with carcas width*. Rears have less room on lci and u can always add camber to make them work. This will be tight in the back. Very much so!

^Not sure that car is LCI given the tails... I took some pictures of the fit I have. Took it on some uneven gravel so it shows how tight the rear fitment is. Apex PS-7 18x9 et31, with BFG g-force comp 2 a/s in 255/35/18.

Wow huge help!!! I may be able to pull this off with some 235s and a little camber
