CDN '11 E90 335xi almost off warranty questions

Good day,

My wife's 2011 E90 335xi will be losing it's factory warranty this coming April. We hope to get one final free oil change in before it does.

I know with my M3, the brake fluid and spark plugs were free just prior to my warranty expiring.....does this hold true for the 335xi?

Anything else that you guys can think of to ask for?

Just trying to get my $'s worth out of BMW prior to going my own maintenance route.

Thanks

Yes, it holds true for the 3 series. It all depends on what the mileage of the car is. My car has low mileage. At around 57,000km, I got oil change, air filter, cabin filter and spark plugs changed under the free maintenance program. I also got the brake fluid changed sometime before that. They do it every 2 years.

Forgive me for asking... Isn't it a 4 year warranty?

You bet! Very very early. I think it was April 26 2010 that we took delivery of the car.

I live in butt fuck nowhere (650 km from nearest dealer) and I plan on modding the car to a small extent (springs, flash, intake) so it's not a viable option.

I would not win this car off warranty, strongly recommend against it.
