Talking Cyba Scoops Fitted!

Now, I have absolutely no preconception that these are going to make any difference at all, but I liked the look of them and they were a bargain

I've always liked this but thought it was painting of that part rather than a addition. From far it does look good...especially on darker cars!

Looks good, I have these fitted to mine. Only issue i have now is that there is a lot more wind noise through the vents on the motorway.

Guys,
Does this increase the dust / moisture going to the air filter?
Considering the weather in GB, will this increase the chances of moisture going into air filter?
Any other disadvantaged other than what ROW mentioned?

Thanks.

In my experience dust yes, moisture no. The Cyba scoops have cut-outs to deflect water away from the airstream. Followed a gritter on the M25 this winter and found salt crystals in the bottom of the airbox!

Thanks.
I know its cheap mod, but does it do any good except gains on illegal speed.

FWIW I agree - these are really just a cosmetic mod IMO. I do a lot of motorway miles though, and I don't agree with the poster above who said they got wind noise.
