Some good brake pads for a 335xi?
Alright well I got the red brake light on so I am guessing I need new pads. I have 60k on the car so I am guessing the rotars just need to be surfaced. ( anyone have spec on that?) What pads are u guys using? I do not track my car so I dont need anything crazy but less brake dust would be nice... Also I am guessing I need to replace all the pad sensors too? Aftermarket suggestions would be nice with a fairly good price as my bank roll aint the best atm due to medical crap :-(

Replacing rotors and pads the same time is the norm. New sensors as well. I also recommend a brake flush with some fresshhh fluids.
Rotors: Budget wise, blanks will be the cheapest. Slotted and drilled will look nicer but wont notice a difference in performance. Pads: There are plenty of options to choose from depending on what you want. OEM pads are known to be very dusty, so anything aftermarket will have less dust. However aftermarket pads, you will lose that initial bite that many people like. Carbon pads will dust the least, however i hear it braking power lacks a bit. I went with Meyle Blanks and Hawk Hps 5.0 pads. I am 100% satisfied, after about 1500 miles, i virtually have zero dust. All the braking power you need plus more. No initial bite, but the braking curve is linear. Harder you press, faster you stop. -I need to stop on a dime occasional here in NY due to the amount of idiots on the road, so these pads give me all the confidence to stop from high speeds. Good luck!

Probably going to get these done some good research on them and I have used brakes like these on all my mid end vehicles and my low end ones too never have problems. I would buy the expensive ones if my health hadn't taken a huge tumble this year.

If you are looking for something to cut down on the dust significantly, I would look into the Cool Carbon pads. Excellent on the street and can handle light tracking. Wont break the bank either.
