2009.1 DVD Upgrade, will this work?
I have the 2009.1 DVD for my 07' 335i, my Boss just bought a 2006 750Li and I told him I would make a copy of my Disc for him.
However I wanted to make sure the disc is the same and wont cause any problems. |

the system is read-only, won't cause any problems. either it will work or it won't.

are you sure about that? if it were read only, then why does it tell you that it needs you to shut down the car for 5 minutes to load new software?

I bet some stuff is stored on the system itself like the interface. But regardless when you update anything, the unit you're updating usually has to reboot in order to complete the process....this is common for all electronics.
