Quaife question

For the people running Quaife LSD. I'm experiencing an initial cluck before the first gear engagement. Is this normal?? It don't happened at any other time or any other gears. Just before the first gear engages

I get the "clunk" sometimes when engaging first gear but not all the time.

Did you change the insert nut?

from what I've heard it's perfectly normal. mine performs great and it was professionally installed at HPA who has installed dozens so Im sure they installed it correctly

Yeah that's Wa harold told me but I figure I'll still ask just because u know how venders are. They tell u what u want to hear. Nothing personal I heard and had great experience with HPA I just wanna double check.

Well did your professional shop change your insert nut?
