Hey guys, I'm havin some horrible rattles after havin these vsrf dps in.. I've done they 'wastegate fixes' thru a couple dif jb4 settings, and that's helped a lil.. Wastegate rattle still comes in pretty good every once in a while tho..

Pretty much, at idle it sounds pretty rough, not like something's broken, but just rougher than I'm thinkin it should, and it sounds almost like something's rattlin around, an I get that rattle on acceleration and then the familiar wastegate rattle..

I'm thinkin the idle an take off rattles might have something to do with the DPs, ima check those out later today, any other suggestions on what to look at??

Check the vacuum hoses and see if they are broken/torn especially the front turbo since its hard to access. Also you could use map8 on the jb4 and turn off boost to see if the rattle is still there. It may confirm they might be vibrating against each other or the frame. That's all I can think of.

I was there from 7am (5th car of the day) and the only guys I saw and heard revving regularly was a light blue civic hatch and some mid life crisis guy in a new Jag F type convertible. When it comes to ruining awesome events like this I have no problem calling people out. It blows dick but Cars & Coffee Cary has been ended.

Hey for the guys in the Lake Norman area, I just stumbled upon a new Cars & Coffee in cornelius!!! It's a new coffee shop, but seems pretty cool especially since it's quite a drive for me to make it to charlotte.

Check it out and lets bring the E90 crowd!

Yeah I saw the video from Charlotte. I just wish there was a C&C near me at college since I'm not in Chapel Hill all that often.

I saw a thread yesterday where someone bought a spring from Home Depot and used it to secure the wastegate. A really cheap fix no doubt. If you have a JB4 you can adjust the wastegates from there a bit too.
