Can Procede Installed Cause This?

I went to get my car inspected and I failed due to:

Catalyst: Not Ready
Evap: Not ready
O2 Sens: Not ready
O2 Sens Htr: Not ready

I have no codes thrown and car seems to drive fine. Any ideas?

Yes. The procede supresses the dash light caused my cat-uncreadyness. You have to undo the harness mod to trick the ecu into thinking the cats are still there. This can take a few driving cycles and you increase/decrease the voltage to within spec. This is assuming you haver a newer or harness-modded older unit.

I still have my cats the only mods I have done are procede and DCI. I also havnt done the harness mod. I have whatever version I got when I got in in September 2010 which is Rev 2 V4.

Turn canbus off and go drive around for a bit. Then you'll be good.

don't turn the canbus off, this would be bad and you would be very technically proficient if you had this ability.

I would try turning off Can Clear in the procede user menu.

Do I do this so that my car will throw the code that procede has been hiding and I will be able to fix it? Or will this make those errors turn to ready?

Canclear is used to clear O2 sensor codes. (hence why catalyst and EVAP are not ready) Since you still have your stock cats you have nothing to worry about. Just turn off canclear and drive for a while. It will allow your monitors to set a ready status for your catalyst and your EVAP. You then take the car back in for smog once the monitors are all set. After smog you can just turn canclear back on. Nothing to worry about very standard when smogging the car with the procede installed.

  3. Set Procede to Map 0. The O2 modifier will be active even on Map 0.
  4. Drive around for a while to set readiness codes.

Do not expect to be able to pass if your harness is updated and you have CANClear on. This will only suppress the O2 codes. It won't set the readiness codes.
