Id say enjoy it standard for while. Appreciate what a great standard car it is. Then get it re-mapped.

I think it looks great, but I suspect there's a few on here who would prefer it if it were chavved up excessively like some sort of Max Power monstrosity.

I'd agree with you on that point. I only said "a few". But as I'm a grumpy old git approaching 50 yrs old my idea of what constitutes a chavriot is probably anything but.

It'll be getting remapped, and black front upper grilles along with an M3 rear spoiler.

Other than that, it'll just be my daily work horse, as i do about 40k a year, my current golf just isn't big enough any more.

I paid £1500 - £2000 less than main dealer retail, so i'm happy.

Looking forward to collecting it abit now.

Will miss my golf though

I've know Mike along time, get on well with him (sale manager) and i repair all their windscreens (my job)
