Achilles corsa 2233?

Anyone running these tires? I've read decent reviews about the achellis ATR sport but can't find anything on the 2233. I normally don't cheap out on tires, but I found a set of 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 for $385 new. I figured at that price it may be worth the risk. I never track the car, so these will be just for street use. Opinions welcome.

Update: found the Achilles ATR sport on sale for 405 shipped to me at savontires.com if anyone is looking for a cheap set of decent tires. Can't beat that price for 19" tires that have some good reviews

Are there any national distributors that stock Achilles, like Discount Tire, Tire Rack, etc? Want a set myself to try but can only find them on onlinetires.com

Thats the website I was going to get them from. They offer local pick up in LA, so I was going to pick them up when I drive thru there next week. I placed the order for the ATR sport from them, but they contacted me and said Achilles won't be stocking those anymore. Said the 2233 is their replacement.

I ended up finding the ATR sport for ~405 shipped to me for the set so I ordered a set. Can't beat that price and from the reviews I have read they wil fit my needs. Savontires.com in case anyone is interested.

I ordered th Achilles 2233s yesterday from onlinetires.com They said they are getting the ATR Sports back in a few weeks. They are supposedly on backorder. But should be in shortly. I needed tires so I went with the 2233s instead at a great price. Just over $400 shipped to my house. Does anyone have any experience with these? Wondering if they have a rounded sidewall. I am putting 265/30/19s on my rear wheels but the wheels are M3 fitment at +22offset. So on the aggressive side. I had my fenders rolled Im just hoping they dont rub.

I still haven't heard anything about the 2233s but the atr sports have been working great for me. Give an update/review once you get your installed.

Hey, well they are now on the car. I cant give a great review yet as they are brand new. As soon as I hit the gas the rear broke loose. So Im assuming they need to break in first. I actually need a nice spacer for the fronts being the rears are +22 the fronts looks really pushed in. And being the front tires are 225/35/19 its a bit stretched. But overall I cant complain.

i bought the 2233 a month or so ago and have put a little over 500 miles on them, before this i had yokahoma advan(top of the line) then continental contact. honestly, when i first got them they rode a little weird and would hold a grip but after i broke them in i can cut corners at 80 miles and hour and they hold all day even when i come around a sharp corner in second they hold. I am very pleased for such a cheap tire. I am running 265/30r19 and i have been pushing them pretty hard on corners and have been double checking the tread for signs of break down but they are solid.. im going to order some for the front as well.

i had 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 ATR before, they are fine for DD, but not for spirit driving...they reach working temp real quick, but it just will stay there...just my .02 when i took them on los angeles mount. driving...

as for drifting, they are cheap and good since they tend to make 335 tail happy
