Apparently the three people who bought my cars did not think so.
Not only did the sales of the cars pay for an E90 but the first wrap landed me a position with a Fortune 100 company. In addition to an awesome career the matte E46's were a rolling portfolio that provided a steady stream of wrap business.
So I would have to ask. When was the last time you modded your car and made money from it? Landed a job because of it or made enough money to buy other mods or take your family on vacation? I would have to guess for most the answer would be never.

Lol. Dude seriously everybody has there own opinion you take the comments a little to heart which is amusing. Yes the wrap job was done very well from the looks of the pictures therefor I can see people wanting you to do wrap jobs for the and inquiring about your services. Now as I stated earlier the e46 wrapped in matte black basically looking stock is not a great look IMO atleast, you need a nice drop and a nice set of wheels to go with the aggressive matte colour. So yes the work is done good can't deny that doesn't mean the car is a looker cause it wasn't as most of your wrapped cars weren't considering they were stock looking matte black cars which looks a bit like a unfinished paint job when the car is so stock

Just a feeler...

Anyone (that does good work) want to do some vinyl wrapping for a few e9x on the side?
We will pay for your flight, food, hotel, vinyl materials, etc.

Pretty much a free, all inclusive, 3 day vacation to Michigan in the spring. In return, you wrap a few (probably around 4-6) e9x cars for us.

This is just a proposal to see if anyone is interested.

Sounds legal to me.
Throw in a few beers and just enjoy your time!

It would only be illegal if they "PAID" you

If you're wrapping 4-6 cars. . . You aren't doing it free or 'beers'. It's very copious and tedious work.

Let's not act silly now

Indecent Proposal.
Six cars in three days is no vacation. Specially when your not getting paid for it.
You are asking someone to give you 75-100 hours of solid labor(for show quality) in three days for no pay(loss of $6K) in exchange for a day in airports and airplanes and a trip to Michigan. To quote my seven year old "Really Dude?"

My sentiments EXACTLY. . .

Is it just me or does any other installer get killer pain in the fingertips and body after a day of wrapping?

100 hours is 4 days 4 hours btw

Nice interior. I'll be doing mine soon.

E90MCF. Which brushed black are you using? Interested in trading some brushed black for a different color. Brushed blue, brushed steel, brushed gold, anthracite carbon fiber?

dude, you did a good job with the wrap, but others are right, matte black is hard to pull off on stock cars, need the right mods to actually look proper. and if you cannot take criticisms, then you probably shouldn't post anything.

A trade wouldn't be worth the cost of shipping a 60" wide roll. . . Even ground would be horrible

Tested the matte blue metallic on my hood today. Light was pretty flat outside so the metallic properties really didn't pop. I'll wrap a few more panels to make sure I like it.
