rear doors creak like mad - fix?

rear doors (both) squeak and creak like bad floors. Any good and long term fix to this without going to dealer? Doors have some resistance opening and closing as well... Appreciate all the advice, it's gotten to the point of embarrassing!

I'm not sure if the creaking is from your rubber seal around the window area. Mine was and driving me crazy. I use 1Z Gummi Pflege on all rubber seals and the creaking is gone now. My interior is totally silent and I am enjoying my car again.

I had the same problem. Took it to the dealer and they put that Gummi Phlege on the door seals. No problems since.
