I have a three half day pass which I will not be able to use this year. If anyone wants it hit me up. It is fully transferable so three of you guys could use it the same day.

Yes Alfred, they are for open lapping days. HPR wants $243 for a three pack.
How does $200 even sound? http://www.highplainsraceway.com/lapping-days-card.html |

Chad, do you have like an actual card that has been pre-paid? How does this actually work? We want to be sure we can use all three for three different cars at the same time that day. We will probably take it off of your hands if so.

Alfred, I do have the card in my possession. Check out that link above, it says that the cards are fully transferable and can be shared with friends. Actually, my name is on it, but it is fully transferable.

I am. I hope you join.

I won't make it Friday, but see you Saturday and Sunday at the NASA event. I'm meeting up with Boulder County officials on Friday as my wife and I are in the Boulder County Foster to Adopt Program. We may foster a kido here in the next month. Side note: I just installed Pagid Yellow brake pads last night. They have better than expected cold brake torque and when they are hot, brake torque is amazing. I'm going to be overbraking everywhere this weekend.

Thanks. I got some dirty looks (according to my wife) because I took notes on my iPhone during our meeting. (I do it all the time in my professional meetings.) I guess they thought I was texting/browsing. After she told me I wanted to give an Alec Baldwin Glengarry Glen Ross speach, but I refrained.
Anyone do OLD @ HPR today?

RMCBMWCCA Fall Drive 2011 NEXT WEEKEND! Sept 17/18
Anybody planning on doing this?
http://www.rmcbmwcca.org/content.php?84-fall-drive-tour BMW Fall Driving Tour – Western Colorado September 17th and 18th 2011 are the dates for the Fall Driving Event. The highlights of this tour include the following: Mountain drive to view the splendor of the fall colors. One of the best 10 mile, winding, paved roads in Colorado. Trip over the Grand Mesa Lunch by a mountain lake Tour of Stony Mesa Winery- Cedaredge. Including the tasting room. Tour of Colorado Gold Distillery - Cedaredge. Includes tasting room. Dinner at a converted apple shed. Features the best prime rib anywhere. Optional tour of the Pioneer museum at Cedaredge. Drive down an awesome canyon to Gateway CO. Tour of the car museum at Gateway. Return home via either McClure Pass or Grand Junction for more winery tours. (Colorado Mountain Winefest is in Palisade, 9/15-9/18). Highlights of a few of the locations we will visit: Colorado Gold Distillery Nestled on the south side of the Grand Mesa, Colorado Gold Distillery’s award winning spirits are hand crafted in Cedaredge, CO, in small batches from pure Rocky Mountain waters born at 11,000 feet along with a secret blend of the finest local award winning grains: corn and wheat from Grand Valley Hybrids in Grand Junction and malted barley from Colorado Malting Company in Alamosa. Stoney Mesa Winery The winery is situated in the middle of our 10-acre vineyard on our 50-acre Delta County farm (outside Cedaredge), of which we originally planted our Gewurztraminer in 1990. Here we also grow Merlot, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay. We are experimenting with other varieties, the main one being Zweigelt which is an Austrian winifera cross that make a medium bodied red wine. The Gateway Colorado Automobile Museum The museum is devoted to understanding and celebrating the history, science, design and social impact of the American car. The Gateway Colorado Automobile Museum tells the engaging story about the marvels of automotive history and the revolution in personal transportation brought about by the invention, production and marketing of the American automobile. This story is so broad in scope that it takes a 30,000 square foot facility to house more than 40 cars in all. Mark your calendars for this September 17 and 18 memorable BMW Fall Tour of western Colorado. The registration fee is all inclusive - lunch & dinner on Saturday, winery & distillery tours, hotel room (if applicable), breakfast on Sunday, and car museum entrance. $80 per hotel room + $50 per person, regardless of age (for meals and admissions) Register at: http://rmcbmwcca.motorsportreg.com/ For more information contact: Dick Hamilton (970) 856 4488 Steve Hamilton (303) 646-1083 steve.hamilton@rmcbmwcca.org
