not the manifold but the intake valve portion of the cylinder head.

it does make a difference and ALL of these N54 motors need this cleaning.

May depend on the area too. South Carolina may be cheaper?

Yup not the manifold.

Price was just over four bills. I'm happy with what he did. Luther is a good guy. I was having issues with rough idle at cold starts. The dealer wanted to change out all six injectors for around $1300. Well got the intake cleaned and now I'm good. Saved $900.

Awesome, my buddy just did this back at my other home and the results were great... will be contacting luther.

HIGHLY recommend getting an oil catch can from Burger Tuning and also doing plugs while you do this as well.

Thanks for the kind words. The machine I use is the one pictured above. It is the BMW specific machine. Cost is 430 and that includes new intake manifold gaskets. It takes about 2hrs to do. I can do this and other work as I have numerous accounts set up with your favorite aftermarket manufacturers. I do recommend purchasing and installing an OCC. It will not alleviate the problem but will definitely reduce the amount of carbon build up. If anyone wants this done please contact me here or at 443.336.9521
