I have a question.. So i looking for ps2 tires and on craigslist Michelin 245/40z/18R. I have a 162 rims with sport package. Will that tires fit on my rims and will it rub? Anybody have an idea? THe OEM tires are 225/40z/18R front and 255/40/18R for the back. Thanks

Ok, so the fronts will be taller and wider than stock, and the rears will be not as wide and not as tall as stock. You are going to be running a square set up on a staggered wheel package. I do not recommend this as people have complained about serious issues with running wrong diameters on their BMW's.
I know running different widths will not hurt, but running different diameters will. Your choice in the end.

Wrong. 245/40 is taller than both the 225/40 and the 255/35.

Not your fault, the OP said his rear size was 255/40R18, so you were correct based on that (incorrect) info.
