What is this sensor? (PIC:Passenger side near ECU, removed during JB4/Vishnu install)

I poached this pic from another thread. I've searched but I can't find what it is. I cracked some of the connectors on mine so it won't stay in place.

It disconnects from the cable running to it, but I dont know what part i need to buy. Anyone out there know what this thing is?

No, the rain sensor is mounted behind the rear view mirror...that sensor is the sensor for the automatic air recirc. (air quality). On realOEM its called the AUC sensor I believe.

Thanks! Now to find the best price. $72 is an expensive penalty for breaking a plastic tab!

I broke one of the tabs, and mine still stays put just fine...I wouldn't worry, just zip tie it is its an issue, unless you are worried about warranty or something.

If you do decide to replace, just unplug the wire for all future installs/uninstalls. Much safer than rotating the sensor. Ask me how I know....
