LOL. Analyzing Abel's lyrics will lightweight blow your mind.

I swear the holidays are getting more and more dangerous.. I almost got hit by holiday shoppers 3 times at Vfair alone. If anyone is doing holiday shopping, I would like to remind you to use your trunk and your trunk lock (glovebox)! Someone didn't know they had that... Ahem!

Nothing special in my trunk anyway.

Made the decision to get a hood like Jace, Phong and JG for an E90, hopefully here next week!

Ordered it already? I might just install my lip, hold off on camber plate and M3 control arm install so I can paint my trunk when it gets here. ETA is 26 days!

Cosmetic Mods almost complete Loving My M3 Mirrors

Wow the day started off as a disappointment, the painters for my M3 mirror covers almost fell through. I had to cancel my 2pm appointment with Lance, for my M3 mirror install, because of the painters said they were not ready. But then I got a last minute call at 4pm from the painters and I got to pick up my mirrors!!!! Now what to do????? Well I downloaded some pics on generic mirror installs, got a link from a forum member that showed a video install step by step...I watched it 3x......lol. I took the plunge and did the install myself. The top pic is after the bottom pic is before. If anyone is on the fence that is thinking of swapping there mirrors out themselves do it!!!!!! it was very easy don't pay someone to do it!!!the DIY here on this forum rocks, $160 is the going rate here in the bayarea, I guess but to be honest it took me 1.5hr's of going slow and steady without breaking anything and ensuring everything worked and was installed correctly. I am $160 richer. Thanks again to the archives in this forum.

How's everyone doing? Hope everybody has a great Thanksgiving.

Getting ready to take my lights out and ship them out to BavX to get some LS3's installed and a proper reseal...should have listened to the negative reviews about Umnitza.

He's selling the hood? Btw, have you seen his Version 3(?) thread? The rear looks hideous.. His car was actually one of my favorite E90s on the forum, too.

Doing pretty well. How about yourself? Aw, that's unfortunate.. hopefully your AE upgrade ends at BavX I'll probably wait until Chris gets his new LS installed but spending money on zee car shall halt until after this crummy year ends. How much did you get quoted, if you don't mind me asking.

You're taking out the V2's you currently have in and getting them resealed? Or what?
Now, you're worrying me

I'm not doing too bad!

Yeah, Duy has confidence that he can end my problems once and for all, so I trust him.
I was quoted $650, which is a lot considering I've already spent that and a little more on these headlights....but it's a lot of work. He has to undo all of Umnitza's mistakes, take out the orion v4's, install LS3's and do a proper reseal. It's worth it though...I either continue to let water leak into these lights, likely leading to a failure and potential replacement, or fix it now once and for all.

It's just bad timing though because I just purchased some coilovers a few days ago. I was considering having a shop do the install, but now it will most certainly be my bro and I doing the install to save money.

Yup and yup, the rear would justify if it was on the track I suppose or shows but daily, I know I'd change it after a while.
Bavx quoted me $600 for ls3's, $$650 for driving down and install. Lets drive down next year? Haha

I don't even remember dates anymore nor care, just another day. I feel your pain with umnitza. I was hyped up just as you then 2wks later, $1200 down the drain. You're going the right direction with bavx now.

I have v4's..I love them, but the reseal on one of the lights is so poor, it fogs up with condensation and water even after minor car washes/rain showers.

I've literally been going to my garage every 15 minutes with a hair dryer for the last 2 hours trying to clear up the lights.
