best way to apply zaino conditioner..

i conditioned the seats this weekend with zaino conditioner however the application pad i used (supplied by zaino, came in the same box) left behind a lot of lint and soaked up too much of the conditioner. What is the right applicator/ method to apply conditioner?

I use a microfiber cloth dedicated for that purpose. It's a relatively thick cloth that works well and doesn't absorb too much of it.

I did Z9/Z10 for the first time this weekend on the G35S and just used 2 cheap microfiber covered foam applicator pads, one to clean, and one to condition. I washed them before their first use and they left no lint behind whatsoever.

I haven't used the Zaino stuff, but I've always used my bare hands when applying conditioner. Let it penetrate, and then buff with a soft cloth.

with the Z9, I use a small brush to scrub.

I've rubbed it in with my hands too, only wearing a vinyl glove, but i think it gives you a better feel of where the conditioner is being applied, IMO

i used to do it by hand, but by the time i was done, my hands would smell like zaino for the next few days. I mean i love the smell of Z10, but it would just be weird trying to eat a bag of chips but everytime you put a chip to your mouth it'd smell like leather.

Now i just use a regular foam applicator pad. Works well since it spreads evenly and also doesn't soak up a lot of the product like a microfiber towel would.

yup, just make sure that it's not overloaded in any areas. Wipe down only!

Z9 - soft bristle tooth brush, wipe down with MF towel

Z10 - use bare hands, let dry overnight
