F*ckers
Thanks to some theiving scum, we now find ourselves one PS3, One Sky HD Box, one amp and one Renault Megane lighter.
Luckily looks like they were disturbed and left all the valuables and one spare set of M3 keys in the back garden. Hats off to Tesco insurance who had someone around to change the locks within two hours, boo to Admiral who offered a £100 'goodwill gesture' towards replacing the barrel and keys for the car (before I found the spare set) - I hate to think how much that would have cost.

Cheers mate - just angry. Feeling a bit better than we did earlier - the initial feeling sick has worn off.

Thieving scum. Hope they die slow and agonising deaths.
Thinking of you and Mandy.

Good thing you didn't catch them.
I expect you could pop a head like a melon with those guns!! Hope your both ok, I'm sure Mandy may feel a bit uneasy for a while (as may you) but try not to let it get to you both, I don't believe the theory that they come back. They see shit they want, take it and on to the next one. They don't plan etc (not this type anyway) so just boost your security and sleep easy. Matt |

Me too Sunny, but at least they got away with nothing sentimental. I'm not feeling too bad now (after a couple of Peronis, a glass of Sancere a glass of Vino and a couple of large Sambuccas). Mandy's not so good at the moment.

Cheers Snooks Thanks Dave - luckily the initial shock lightened as we uncovered stuff that we thought had gone, but hadn't actually (quite a bit was stowed in bags ready for the off, but looks like they were disturbed) Quote:
Is that a clue?

I'm a very passive kind of guy and haven't really been put in that situation - but who knows what could happen in the wrong circumstances. I've had a couple of 'mates drunkenly larking about circumstances' (and not that kind, in before Will), when I've had to back down when you realise that it could be very easy to hurt someone without meaning to. People aren't as forgiving as heavy weights! I'm not too worried about this type of thing happening again. Yes, we feel a bit uneasy, but that will pass.

Yes it is Tone - first time nothing was taken, not so fortunate this time. If only Surrey was a safer place to live
I remember it happening in when I was a wee lad (some time ago) - the memory lives with you forever

Jeez, that's shocking Ed.
I can imagine Mandy and yourself are feeling quite violated at the moment and hopefully that will pass and you will both recover in time. Let us know if there is anything we can do Did they get in via the rear doors? |

Just shite news. You, someone's wheels the other day, and a shiny Escort Cossie - time to log my vote on the 'election' thread me thinks to get this country sorted.

Ed, sorry to hear this. I hope they catch the bastards. It's a good thing they dropped the spare key to your car. That could have been a right mare until you could get the key disabled and locks changed.
What's wrong with this country.... even if they are caught they'll probably just get a slap on their wrists. It definitely should be more like a chop. Stuff like this makes me angry. |
