Had John code my car with several options earlier this afternoon including the Alpina flash. He explained everything thoroughly and the coding didn't take long. Thanks again John!

I had john code my car tonight and do the alpina b3 transmission flash. Very professional, explained everything out. Flash immediatly wants to upshift to the next gear in D and thats nice because it results in better fuel economy. In Sport mode though, it rips!

What state and city is this John in? I'm interested in getting this done ASAP. Just confirmed my production date of 07/07 can have this done. Apparently anything before 03/07 cannot be flashed.

WOOOO GO JOHN! He just flashed my transmission with the Alpina B3 tune... oh my goodness, it's a whole new beast! Drive mode is like driving in a continuously variable transmission, a little hard to get used to, but hey, as Stucks said, it's meant for fuel economy. Sport shift mode, the car stays in gear longer, shifts clean, just feels like it's chomping at the bit to go. Manual mode is best. Quicker rev match to down shift... quicker shift up. Blasphemous to say but it's almost like a DCT transmission.
He's also good with eurocoding other features but this is by far the best coding done for my car. If you have a 6AT and 03/07 and later, do this. (I'm 03/07 so I know it would work). I'm looking forward to him doing my parents F07 and E90. |

Just wanted to echo everyone's comments on John's excellent service. I recently got the following features coded:
So far, my favorite item is the close windows/sunroof with key fob. This saved me from running out to my car when it suddenly started pouring. John was very professional and clearly explained the details of each feature. Before performing any work, he described exactly what he was going to do and made sure I was comfortable with the changes. He even helped me troubleshoot an issue with my rear tail light!! I received the dreaded "Rear Tail Light Malfunction" warning and half of my rear LEDs would not light up when the turn signal was engaged. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=769428 The problem was either the LED light assembly or the footwell module. Since I am out of warranty, the dealer wanted the usual diag fee to look into the issue. John was nice enough to let me remove the rear tail light from his beautiful e90 M3 to troubleshoot the problem. I was able to determine that the problem was with the light assembly and not the footwell module. I highly recommend John's service. A+ for a great guy and motorsports enthusiast.
