damn i just changed them right now. i think it took me about 20min everything was easy except it took me like 5min to take out the driver side bulb. haha. overall everythng went smooth!

im stuck...
i did the driver side easily, but the passenger side no matter what i do, the bulb wont budge and come out....

All these fog light DIY's make everything so complicated. It took me 10mins to change my fogs on my e92, its even easier and took like 7mins to do my girlfriends e90.

For e92, remove 3 8mm bolts. Turn the wheel all the way to the right to do the left side and vice versa. Remove 2 bolts on the fender liner (towards the outer side of the fender liner. They are both in somewhat of a straight line. One is above of the other). Remove the 1 bolt closest to you on the bottom of your bumper where your "mud guards" are. Now you will have more then enough room to pull the fender line back and change the bulb.

For e90, its exactly the same thing except there is only 1 bolt to remove on the fender liner instead of 2 like the e92.

no problem, although i cant take credit for this method since Long was the one that taught me it haha. Let me know how things go. If people are still having trouble, i'll probably write up my own diy just to show how easy and quick it is.

Long is pretty sourceful with his work. If it gets to the point where you have to make your own DIY, I recommend video

UPDATE, the method that l4wrenc3 posted is much easier for me to follow. done in 15mins. both sides.

Looks good! Wetsand those fog lights and then buff on some plastix and they will look brand new..

Did any one have issues with the aim of the fog lights? A tech at this body shot said that you can do it yourself, but you have to be careful of how the lights will aim. Is there any advice on this? I thought it would be as simple as swapping bulbs. Apparently not. Any input?

H8 for non M-Sport. H11 for M-Sport
