Hey guys. So I'm getting ready to go into my third spring/summer with my 19s, and I'm going to replace my hankooks. Currently, I'm running 265/30/19 in rear with 235/35/19 up front. Wheels are 9.5 et 33 rear and 8.5 et 35 front. I was thinking of keeping the fronts the same size, but stepping up to 275/30/19 in the rear, as I've been reading that that size would be a little better on my transfer case (I have an xi ). My only concern is rubbing, as I'm lowered on Eibachs (not slammed). I've read that pre LCIs have more clearance than LCIs, and also that e90s have more clearance than e92s, but I was wondering if anyone could give any advice? Most of my searching came up with people with e92s running these, but rolling their fenders.

Do you think I'll rub with the 275s in the back on my 2007 e90?

I'm running 275 in the back of my e90 and it's fine. Some tires run wider than others though, I'm using fallen 452 which supposedly run narrow. Hope this helps

I always run 275/30/19 in rear for my 9.5" wheel with 39mm offset. I tried 25mm offset before and it rubbed a little. So, I'm very confident to run at 30mm offset with no rubbing.

No, mine is stock. I don't think lower the car will rub with et 35 F and et 30 R based on my measurement last time.

Actually, 235/35 Front and 275/30 Rear are the best tire sizes in 19-inch because there is only a .02 inch difference in total wheel diameter with those sizes. They are practically the same (25.48 inch front/25.5 inch rear) size, which is important for AWD vehicles so as not to mess up the transfer case.

Yep! That's why I originally started considering getting them over the 265s. I just don't wanna rub in back. My buddy had a merc that rubbed and it was just awful over dips in the highway. Also tore up the outside of his tires very quickly. Anyway, looking like the 275s will work for me, unless I find anything to the contrary. Thanks guys! The forum comes thru again!

Just realized I typo'd my wheel offsets previously. Idk what I was thinking of. Actual wheel offsets should be et 33 rear et 35 front. Do you think I'll still be OK to run the 275s in the rear?

Post pics when you put those babies on. Just remember, overall wheel and tire size will be almost half an inch larger in your wheel well, but well within the norms of the e90, especially if you are not slammed.

Wow, thanks! That's a good resource. And yeah, I'm not slammed at all. I just have the eibach prokit springs for the 328i on my xi. If I remember correctly, I think I still had about an inch of wheel gap with the 19s on last season. I believe those springs were an even more modest drop than the H&Rs for xi cars. I should have some tires picked out and ordered within the next few days. Thanks again!!

I'm on H&R Sport Springs in the rear. I tried fitting 285/35/19's yesterday lol. It would've fit with a fender roll, but they touched when the suspension was compressed at all.

I really really hate the 265's. The stretched look isn't something I like. I'm hoping the 275/30/19's will work.

Nope, fenders aren't rolled at all. I think you'll be fine, since your car is a pre LCI. As long as you're not running spacers or super aggressive offsets, that is. Also, make sure you do 275/30 and not 275/35. I'm pretty sure that extra sidewall would rub.

First of all you have a LCI so that can't help at all.

I had 20x10 et 25 in the rear running 285 30 20 w/ rolled fenders and I was fine.
Currently I have 19x10 et22 running 265 30 19 and I can easily put a 10mm spacer or put 285s.

im running 275/30zr20 in the rear and they fit fine. A little scrapping but other than that fine.
