E90 centre section getting hot

Hi guys,

Did a search but couldnt find the answer.

When driving for a while with the CC on, I have found the centre section (gears and idrive controller) section get hot to the touch. Is this normal and have I pressed some option and not noticed it, or could there be a problem?

Its you heater running hot air to the rear seat vents via the centre tunnel. Set it to cold and its......er cold.

.....+1

and you maybe have the centre console switched to vent with the same air, again if it's hot you will heat the console also!
