Best 19" non runflats?
Hi guys, just thinking, if I don't manage to source a Michelin Pilot PS2 (non runflat) to replace one that has a bubble and which are now out of production, I might as well get a full set of new tyres from tirerack or elsewhere. Which ones are recommended for max comfort in 225/35/zr19 fronts and rear 88y255/30/zr19 to go on my 230 style wheels?
Thanks

This is a no brainer. Why would you even waste time asking such an obvious question?
Anyway, since you must be slightly retarded, the answer to your question is Michelin PSS Front is available in 225/35ZR19 but rear is only available in 255/35ZR19 and 265/30ZR19...Id go the 265/30 as it will help the 320 put its power to the ground! You will never have to worry about losing traction under full acceleration in the 320 again! They are the quietest tyres as well, so it will be perfect for those Cruvon family outtings to the zoo where the kids want to sleep in the back seat after they finish playing with their nintendo DS....It will also allow you to hear your wife talk about last nights episode of 'Mike & Molly' without her being drowned out by road noise.... Lol, kidding! So the extra width tyres should go just fine with 320 style 255/30/zr19 rears, right, with no rubbing issues et al?

Im not 100% sure, best to search on the forums but the extra width of 265 is hardly noticeable over 255 and the 30 profile ratio makes the tyre circumference nearly identical.

Hey welcome back Rossi, long time no see.
Remember Cruvon want the max comfort not max performance. Even though they are excellent on the road as well but they are $1250 for a set excluding shipping. In my opinion for the max comfort and bang for buck tyres are Continental ExtremeContact DW and Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110. Both under $900. I have the V12 and they ride 1millions times better than my Ps2 RFT.

I run a 265/30 on the rear but its on a 10" wheel. How wide is the rear rim? You should be fine with a 265/30 but just make sure the tyre isn't becoming too wide for the wheel.

any non RFT is 10000 times better then a RFT so your comparison between the V12 and RFT is pointless |

Lol, thanks. Exactly the thread I wanted, that's on a e92 though so maybe e90 should be same too. You're a star when you are helpful.

Hi Cruvon. I was running 265 x 30 x 19 on a 9.5" rim with an offset of +30
and had no rubbing issues. Apparently there is more room under the guards of an E90 than on the E92 so you should be fine with the 265 on a 9" rim. |

Congrats, your car was a beauty but the M3 is the icing to the cake, looking forward to see pics of it when you get it. Guess the BMW drive day in the M3 got you hooked

I always wanted one but the drive day reinforced it. I can't afford one with DCT so a manual will have to do.
