Seriously though, do you think you can run 600whp as a daily driver and not risk the integrity of the engine? (long term speaking)
Also what do you think the limit on HP with stock internals?

Do you mind sending an oil sample from your single turbo N54 to BlackStone Labs for some analysis? It'll be nice to see if the engine is really holding up to these levels of power output!

Another thing we should start looking at is raising the rev limit. I just did the math and at 7,000rpm, our N54 piston speed is only at apx. 21m/s! That's by no means fast, and even raising up to 8000rpm (mps of 24) should not come close to breaking the hydrodynamic oil film.
Someone care to be the guinea pig? In theory, throwing in tougher valve springs might be the only insurance needed to raise the rev limit to 8000... |

Just switch map or lower the boost. You dont need to be boosting @ 21+ PSI all the time...

If you're talking about production street legal cars, I would say the BMW motor in the McLaren F1. The M-developed S70 6.0L V12 naturally aspirated motor produced 618 hp stock.
Wow. Shiv's motor makes significantly more hp than the McLaren F1 engine! |

Hey Shiv. Thanks for doing the 94 pump non-meth dyno. What do you think is the theoretical limit for 91 octane pump gas only? This would be the bottom line WHP the kit would make then.
Also, with the step down small turbo, what's the max range on that? 600whp? |

And this is just the beginning...
I'm still amazed that the internals/head/intake manifold have not been touched. 627whp with a Bolt-On kit, amazing! And not even running race gas or the higher reading MAP sensor yet.... |
