LOL Where did you get that meaning from?

Up here, amongst the Midlands PH lot our meaning for hoon is a non-chav, enthusiastic drive round the countryside, at speeds (normally) above the NSL (unless specified a "slow car run") or properly fast if specified a fast run, no loud music, mainly sports / classic cars but all welcome under it's not what you drive but how you drive it, far from gentle driving(!) but not causing offense to the public by playing loud music or by the drivers being chavs.

I've been on countless hoons, all been great fun fair enough you get the bores who you overtake getting annoyed sometimes but it is a nonchav affair

Carlos, have you got a route planned yet?
What's the general route direction?

Oh and I'm going no where near the M25, it was just purely and simply madness, a novelty for a little bit then just bloody annoying!

I've had alsorts lol! The Porscha car history goes -
'64 MGB sold to buy
'77 911 SC targa was doing a long commute so bought
'01 E46 330Ci was auto so bought
'00 Boxster S ended up costing me a LOT of money was broke so bought
'86 944 some Renault Megane idiot didn't look where he was going missed a junction and my poor '44 was written off so bought
'93 E36 318iS everyday car
'90 Mk.1 MX5 with a view to doing something silly to it, V8 anyone?? didn't bother and bought
'78 MG Midget back to my MG roots! and bought
'99 E39 520i was meant to be an everyday car with
'78 MGB but that only lasted a week due to the car not being as described

and bought

'94 MR2 turbo

Bought first car when I was 16 (not that I was allowed to drive it) 20 now! Also had 50cc scooter when 16 lol and an NSR125

I perhaps do have an odd taste in cars, grew up with properly old cars so thats probably why, I love performance just not all the gadgets

What next? Well who knows it's all very spare of the moment with me not "next" probably but I've saving up for a Seven Type Car (Caterham / Westfield) and ultimately a pre-SC 911 So many cars too little time!
