I paid a drone racing pilot to chase me around during a HPDE
I had a unique opportunity to solicit the services of a drone pilot to chase me during an open lapping event I was a part of. I knew about his work from a youtube channel I follow and liked how dynamic his shots were. For me it was a no brainer as I thought it was a unique way to capture my project car doing what it does best. Take a look:

Pretty nice. I have build and flew dozens of Race drones. Maybe I should start offering this service too.

Drones bring an entirely new perspective to familiar events. I've attended many HPDEs. This is my first viewing of the event from the air. Not only entertaining, but also beneficial as a training assistant. Cool!

This is awesome. I've always been wanting to get a drone to follow me on my bike through the canyons but don't know any drone pilots. Some amazing footage for sure, car looks great

Photography drones can get some good distance but speed is an issue. Plus going away in one direction you need battery life to get back the same distance.

Yeah, the car has become more of a track day toy than a daily commuter. I keep just adding more and more parts every year. Hell next step may be a full interior strip and roll cage. I can't quit this car, I love it too much.

Yeah a complete rear seat delete with a cage would look sick! I've always wanted to do the same with my car as well!
