I-Drive and iPod working together?

However, I'm not sure if it has the iPod option installed. If it doesn't, do they have a USB port? What would be the cleanest way to interface my iPod? I'd like to be able to keep the iPod in the glovebox or center console and navigate the iPod through I-Drive. Is this possible or is it only the cars with iPod option installed? Thanks in advance!
