Has anyone ever used Millennium Motorsport in Hudson for Bimmer service work? This is for a CPO that no longer has maintenance plan. Just getting a gauge on them as their prices seem to be really good as compared with the dealer.

Sorry, I've been slammed at work; they're transferring me to a new job and I've got to train my replacement and close out a bunch of stuff. I'll try to make the next one though.
This weekend I hope to finally get my Quaife LSD, coilovers, ASB, M3 bushings, and the new twin disc clutch in Well, I didn't have "issues" to the extent that others have had, only rough idle and occasionally that "stuttering" feeling when accelerating in higher gears from lower rpms. It definitely made the car seem smoother, and the idle is rock solid now. I can't test the acceleration part just yet with my clutch slipping as bad as it is.

Yeah, he's been awesome.. thanks again for introducing me! I can talk with him for hours about cars. Glad to hear you finally made it in the 9s... that car is one of the best sleepers ever!

Hey guys! Just signed up as a new member here, dabbling with the idea of joining the BMW crew. I currently drive an Audi RS4 and am looking at changing it up. I have been hot after a 335xi coupe for a bit now. I really like the looks of the coupe and they are "reasonably" priced (compared to the B7 RS4 in terms of both mods/maintenance and the actual car itself).
I live in Strongsville (about 12 miles south of Cleveland) and am looking to find some local folks with modded 335s that wouldnt mind meeting up and letting me check the cars out. I tend to get the mod bug pretty quick. I am most interested in getting a ride in a tuned 335 or better yet an RB turbo 335. I would like to experience a modded 335 before I totally jump ship on the 4.2 V8 in my RS4. If anyone is in the area and would be willing to meet up sometime, let me know! Thanks guys/girls! |

I see you have a 5 series, who works on that thing? Do you DIY or you have a local shop that does good work? Just trying to prepare for a POTENTIAL move over to BMWs... |

I'd love to check out your RS4! I'm a longtime Audi fan and I had a '97 S6plus with the 4.2 V8 (AHK) when I lived in Italy. I was looking hard at the RS4s but I knew I would have to put a SC on to be happy, and with as much as I travel for business I wasn't too keen on having a daily driver that sucks as much gas as that thing would. I considered modding a B5 S4 as well, but as old as that platform is, it's nearly impossible to find a good condition/low mileage one. Honestly, if they were to offer an RS3 with 6MT here in the U.S., I'd be one of the first ones on the wait list.

I used to do the maintenance on it myself and I never owned it long enough to do out of warranty repairs. Long story short: The 3rd gear syncro went bad. Took it to BMW. Quoted $10k to replace the transmission and other related components because they don't make replacement syncros for my particular 5er. Sold the car and bought something more affordable to carry me through college. I'm going to be back in the market since I'll be graduating soon. I can DIY some of the stuff but for anything major, I have a good friend that is an excellent mechanic. He knows everything about BMWs inside and out. From maintenance and repairs to performance. He bought an E34 M5 with a blown motor and rebuilt it himself. He has an E36 M3 that he rebuilt the motor and supercharged. He also built his brother's 500 rwhp E55 AMG. Needless to say, I trust him with any car that I will ever own. He's very smart and he's a perfectionist. Everything is always perfect. |

Tremont and West 25th in Ohio City have some really great places. East 4th Street is a whole street of nothing but very chill bars. If you're looking for the younger (early to mid 20s) party/club scene, West 6th is where you'll want to be.

To the dumbass driving an E39 540i eastbound on Carnegie about half an hour ago:
Showing off your lack of driving skills by making skid marks while changing lanes during rush hour traffic, isn't the smartest thing to do. Yes, I saw you nearly crash into the van in the lane next to you, because you obviously weren't able to handle the ~300 hp. Next time leave the douchebaggery at home... you give other BMW drivers a bad name.

Just moved to Ohio, I was originally going to CT but stopped and loved Cincinati or the twp around it that I decided to stay. I'm about to buy a house in Milford. Hopefully there are alot of us out here and we could get something going.
