I appreciate your enthusiasm and motivation. My e90 was purchased by my parents. Granted is was a 325i, but it really doesent matter in the grand scheme. The S5 will be my first car purchase and i will be using the 325i as collateral, since its already paid for.

I just appreciated your post because i feel like i just got to the next stage and i know where your coming from.
No all purchased and insured on my own. Now i wish my parents could help me but they cannot. Please lets not turn this into a why does a young man have a 50k+ car thread. But before anyone can, the simple answer is i do not have children. And i am very happy for you purchasing the new S5 and wish you the best of luck. And in your case congratulations you have moved on to the next step lol. In my case the next step was the first car i bought lol.

Nice car, but it doesn't excite me. I'll stick w/ BMW.

It's supposed to be ~ $60-$70k w/ some options; my wife's MB GL450 has a MSRP of $73k, and it's quite expensive per mo...that S5 isn't too far behind.

Nice car though, but for the $$, I think I'd go for the E92 M3.
...$73k for an SUV!? Why?

ACK! Why are the Germans being so conservative with their rear offsets?! Same deal on the 335... Just needs a 15mm spacer or so to cure it but come on...its not like 15mm more offset is going to cost more.

Now we know where all your (I mean your parents) cash went... ha ha. Actually, G'ville is a very fun town now; a lot more to do than when I went there for school many years ago. Also, my friends and I took many road trips to Jax, Orlando, St. Aug. Beach, Tampa, etc.

Anyway, UF is a great Univ. for a great education with just a little partying in between...LOL. I grad. UF and I seem to be doing ok...he he.

I like the way you think. Im 19 in college and using the prospect of purchasing a 335i coupe after I graduate and work for a bit as my little side materialistic push lol.

You guys in major markets are extremely lucky. Our audi dealership isn't supposed to have any for another "few weeks"

Don't get me wrong...great looking car and a decent performer, but for over $1,000/mo. on a 3-year/12k mi. lease (MF of .00325 ), I'd say the E92 M3 or 335i might be a better choice for the $$ (on a lease anyway ), imho...
