Fast Flashing Indicators

Hi all new to this forum I have a E91 320D and my indicators flash fast when being used but ok on hazards, I have no bulbs out, can anyone helps me with this please, has anyone had the same problem.

They flash fast when you switch on either side, or flash fast on one side only?

flash fast both sides, its like a bulbs out but there isn't any out

I think it's corrosion in one of the light sockets. Check them out if you can get to them and try using some sandpaper to remove any rust. Or you may have to have a new socket installed.

I will have a look at the sockets, I think I have seen on here before some where, someone had this (cant find the thread) and they unplugged there lcm and left for a couple of hours and plugged it back in and was fine, does anyone know where it is located.

What year is your car? LCI tails with LEDs have a tendancy to break solder joints: a couple of LEDs will become intermittant, and they'll sort of flicker and flash during the on cycle of the light. Mine did this one one side and required replacement.
