PayPal's scam protection is fucking ridiculous. I'm an eBay seller with some 1200 positive feedback in the past 8 months and 5 negatives (4 were my fault...). Not that bad, right? Even with that amount of feedback, Paypal still sides with fucking buyers all the time on me.

Just recently, a buyer did a CC charge back saying he didn't get the item and I'm on the hook for $36 even though I sent the item with a tracking number AND the buyer left me positive feedback. There's just no way I'll win this case even with all the proof that I have that the buyer got the item and was happy with the transaction.

In cases like this, the buyer has to send the item back on their own dime before paypal gives them a refund. I've had this happen once nad it was just a way for the buyer to get a refund because I wouldn't give them one. He wanted a refund on a new item I sold to him after he opened it and tried it out. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to take a hit because you had buyer's remorse.

I don't some people, they whine and bitch about being scammed by eBay/paypal then tell you to scam other people. You can't have it both ways.

No. . . but PayPal in certain cases may place a 21 day hold on the funds before it may be transferred to your bank account.
