$1631. The same damage I had, the amount I got compensated for.. my hood was worse and it was considered repaired no matter how much I fought for a new one.

Find a used hood on ebay in same color/repair bumper or upgrade. I made out with cash after my mishap, you should be able to too!

happened in a parking garage after i gave the car to the valet for the night.... i didn't notice the damage until the next day after i left the garage because when i picked up the car i approached it from the side... now I'm trying to fight with the garage to get them to fess up, but they are saying i can't prove it was them

in some cases you can even buy the M3 rep bumper already painted so I believe it comes out a bit cheaper.

Best of luck. This is a main reason why I try to always park my own car instead of valet. I dont like to trust anyone driving my car

I did just find a really high end shop that said they would be able to repair, refinish, and repaint, only thing i need to replace is the grille. They wrote up a quote for $1,330. If the garage keeps on refusing to take fault, I'll just pay out of pocket the 1,330, will be better than going through insurance and paying a 1,000 deductible and having my rates go up

Turns out I was able to have the hood repaired and repainted, bumper repaired and repainted, and grille replaced, all for $1,330 Took them 4 days but they did a great job. Very happy with the result. Paid cash out of pocket since my deductible is 1,000 and i didn't want an accident on the carfax or my rates to go up.

Garage denied fault, we couldn't prove it happened there, so had to pay out of pocket or go through my own insurance.

As ppl pointed above, you must check your car before taking it back.
Also, let us know the parking garage name and write the reviews and if its a big company, I would say try to write an email to their office and may be they'll share some cost. There is no harm in trying.

Happened in a garage for a condo building in pittsburgh, they only operate out of the one building.

I'll upload pics within a couple days. Looks 99% as new
