Idrive Control Hot?

Hey

I have a 2011 328xi and I noticed that near the control of my idrive system it gets really hot when the car is on.

Have any of you guys experience this before?

Make sure your temperature knob for the rear seats is set to the "blue" side. Having it set to "red" can make the console very warm to the touch. Warm enough that it melted a Snickers bar (in its wrapper) in under 5 minutes once in the dead of winter.
