cylinder 6 is the weak cylinder in the motor. Lots of misfires on that cylinder causing rod bearing damage. Cylinder 6 gets the least amount of coolant since it's in the back, one of the reasons why its the weakest cylinder.

We do target load, however, we make adjustments to a myriad of other items for sake of drivability and all out power under the curve. Making adjustments to just one item, while neglecting others causes surging and miscellaneous limp modes. Things you will not find in any of our software offerings.

Hi guys....i got the same code!!!...P29D2 and done a search and found this thread!!!...running Cobb Drive stge1 ....all their other maps trigger codes on my car...so very annoyed and need help!!!

and recently, when getting the error code...my car started sounding like a bloody subaru!!!!...

First post says that code is a misfire. How many miles? When did you last change your plugs?

its on 58 200 miles now...


spark plugs changed by bmw at 47 899 miles in 2010....
