I really want these and my turbos are on their way out, too bad my twins (flesh and bone kind) have my budget shot. Hope pricing does not increase incredibly after the intro.
+1 hoping regular pricing isn't too much higher than intro

This is what I've been waiting for and I think the pricing is very legit. After seeing the final results for the test car I just may be jumping on board.

Thanks Tony for your contribution to the community.

I highly doubt he can warrant a ~4,000 dollars in profit per kit. I understand he needs to make a profit, but he doesnt have to rape everyone.

It is what it is, I hope he sells more than 10 sets but I doubt it'll be easy for him to break past his minimum. Those that have the cash to dump into their car already opted for the fftec kit.

Well look at the kit he's selling for $6199 or whatever price it is with the GT2871R. The price for one turbo on that is right around $1400 and he needs two. That along with all the parts that are custom fabricated that come to install this makes me think the price isn't that absurd at all. Just curious if you think this pricing is bad what are your thoughts on the Vishnu kit which is one turbo and not two? Seems like this is pretty competitively priced to me

He got my money. And I'm not the first, nor the last. And $4000 profit? LOL. The turbos cost about that much alone.

so funny, i love when people think that they can simply task out a local company to do what years of R&D and custom machining of specialty companies have done. then have the nerve to post it into a forum like a fucking TROLL!! they will never get it Vargas, RB, HPF, and Vishnu. there might be a reason why BIG turbo kit companies dont have a bolt on kit for our car... just saying

If the man is making 4k, (Insert teddy KGB voice) pay him his moneeeey. 6k sounds reasonable to me for another 300+ horses. Why do people dislike capitalism. Good job Tony. Hope you make some money for having a set to try something new.

Congrats on the development. I'm not in the market today, but love to see the work being done by you all advancing the N54.

People,

Keep in mind all of the research and development hours that have gone into this kit. The guy didn't just stroll down to his local AutoZone, fill up a basket and check out. Maybe he is making a couple thousand dollars per kit. Maybe he can chime in with a rough estimate as to how many hours he has put into R&D.

This is a VERY good price for this setup.

Hell, just checkout pricing for a blower setup on a freaking LS1 and you'll see $7K all day long for a freaking roots blower and adapter plate for one of the most commonly modded engines ever.

Vishnu kit pricing is out of this world, but he was the first, he set the market price... Just like RB did with the upgraded OEM turbos.

I can sell you the GT2871R turbo for $2000, that doesnt mean much. If you search ebay, prices are $999 and Vividracing sells it for $1160.

A reasonable price would be $2200 for the turbos. $1000-$2000 for his time spent designing the exhaust manifolds. (Which is a lot). Im sure his labor rate isnt above $100/hr but closer to $60/hr.

The cost of metal used in the kit is nominal...

Instead of making a profit on the turbos which he doesnt modify. He should just charge what a good Christian would, something fair?

Anyhow, I can see if he wanted $6000+ for a one off kit. But if hes trying to sell several kits, at $6000+ is nutty as Vishnu.

Look at Terry, hes a reasonable guy. Makes his profit but doesn't try to kill you which his pricing.

If terry doesnt copy or make his own turbo manifolds soon. I probably will order a set, and have a local shop setup a jig and start welding manifolds.

If Terry were to sell this kit, I could see it priced from $4000-4500 MAX. Not a $6000 intro price which jumps to $7000 or more?

Enough of my non sense... I'm more interested in seeing how far this motor can be pushed.

Ehh fair enough very good response. I was looking at the pricing on ATP turbo but I guess you're right. While I wouldn't complain if the price was lowered and I would be even happier, I definitely don't think it's out of the world. He also gets the benefit of being first to do upgraded twins on N54 so idk for me I feel like the price is reasonable. In all honesty I predicted this kit to cost around $9k so i'm relatively happy with the price. Agreed on seeing how far this motor can go
