it's all up to OP.... but like most ppl suspected, she might have a built motor.... used to have a boosted EG civic 9 years ago, if you done it right, they are fast! my friend used to have a single cam D15 NON-VTEC turbo built, and believe it or not, ran 10.5 all day long....
a nice built honda motor is no joke....

all the stats in the world don't matter, depends on the driver and the grounds you do it on. I've seen a saturn aura smoke cars that outclass it by going onto the shoulder of 101 going 100+. Plus when other drivers see stuff like that, most usually freak out and get all defensive = more dangerous road conditions.
Unless you do it on a open road, or track. I wouldn't do it, too many other people to consider. + even if you will back off in situations like that, doesn't mean she will, and that will be your fault as well (not legally) but you agreed to the race. |

x2, K series, especially the k20/k24 hybrids, are NASTY. I've seen 360+ cfm flow charts from the heads.

Hondata is mostly known for flashes but they are not synonymous. The K-pro is a tunable ECU made by Hondata. I had one in my '04 RSX type-S.

Listen, idiot. and the rest of the people in the thread. The only solution for them is called FlashPro which isn't even released yet.
http://www.hondata.com/flashpro.html The 06+ Si is drive by wire you cannot throw a KPRO and RSX 04' ECU in it and tune it. They are one off. Therefore unless this car is running a full standalone it will not make big power. |

I think she is just trying to set somebody up to get robbed... I have seen it done many times before... walk up to somebody with a nice car that they know is faster.. get you to put up big money and then rob you.. The underground racing scene is seedy. Be careful.

damn..... this is a tough decision... but yea like everyone said chk under the hood n trunk. Seeing as you met her at a gas station with all the other ricers, i can assume it will be a street race. So if you have street raced before and you are confident in your driving then yea why not. Make sure you dont miss your shift and get a good launch. If you do lose still get her numba go home cry a little, then later add more mods to your car and call her again. Tell her this time you want to go for 4 stacks!!! and make sure you win lol.

Beware of Italians bearing gifts! She is an Italian Stallion, and she may have come from the Civic, but she might really come from a family of friends....like Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari....hahaha +1 on checking under her hood....then I would check under her Honda...
