Thanks for the advice guys, I went to see the adjuster and got a check for $1600 after a $50 deductible. That doesn't include some damage to the headlight housing. If the shop I take it to can't buff it out, they'll cut me another check. Now it's time to shop around.

Also, if anyone is interested i have a set of factory 157's with factory bridgestone runflats (no tpms) fs. Tires are between 7-8/32. I dont need them and they are just taking up space, if anyone wants a spare set of wheels and tires for whatever throw me an offer

Is there a good place locally to buy ignition coil packs? It's probably cheaper to buy them online, but I want them today, not next week!

Got a ticket from a hwy patrol for not using my signal today Well, I used my signal, thats the problem! Because he is a bitch, he wrote me a ticket for not having a front plate too (no holes in my bumper for it). The guy was about to piss himself from all the excitement of writing me two tickets.

So..

Should I fight the lane change ticket? I don't think this jackass could even see if I used my blinker considering he was to the right of my vehicle and I was using my left blinker to merge left onto the tollway.

And, does anyone have a tow hook license plate holder I can borrow to get this front plate ticket dismissed??

That sounds like BS. I'd fight both of them. Here is who I use & recommend

Thanks! I might give them a call. I curious if it's cheaper to do defensive driving or deferred than pay an attorney.

Depends on how valuable your time is I guess. It is possibly cheaper to do defensive driving if you're eligible, but I prefer the easier route of having an attorney get everything dismissed (or at least a reduced fine and off my driving record). In my mis-spent youth I racked up a billion tickets and still have a spotless record thanks to some well-spent dollars with good traffic attorneys I did defensive driving once a few years ago for a ticket that was legitimately deserved. The rest were BS things like speeding 2 MPH over the limit, etc.

If nothing else, I enjoy the satisfaction of that cop getting his/her BS ticket thrown out

Anyone have the thin walled 14mm spark plug tool I can borrow for the weekend? Or know of a local store I can pick one up at?

I have a few things just sitting in a box. Both cars gone

M3:
I have a set of matte black grilles for an e92.
Black gills for an e92.
12 mm MS spacers with extended bolts x 2 (i will confirm that they are 12mm, i sold the car with the 10 mms on the back)
Matte Black M3 letters

335i: i have a stock charge pipe (30 bucks?)
I have a front OEM RFT probably about half gone, maybe around 7/32nds (will confirm)

I have a black and a white(AW) front LP brakets if anyone wants those as well.

PM if you want any of this with your offers... You never know, i may just give it away.

New to the forum and BMW, well sortof, barring any unforeseen complications I should be getting 335i in the coming weeks.

Forced induction is new to me as my previous sports coupes, 08 350Z, 09 370Z, and 10' Nismo 370Z, where all naturally aspirated. Looking forward to it and crossing my fingers that my wallet makes it out alive.

Welcome! I love the Z's, they have a lot of potential.. A TT Inline 6 is one of the more solid turbo setups from the factory, aside from a 2jz. 400whp430/tq is very easy to obtain in these cars, and done safely. You don't hear about blown engines around here, they are built solid.

Are you getting a coupe or sedan?

Harbor Freight or Northern tool sells one. I forget which. Look online, they can point you the correct direction. Use a magnet to get the plug out, the inserts aren't that great.

Are you sure it's 14mm? That's 9/16" roughly. Not many plugs (sans motorcycle plugs) are that size. I'd have to dig in my motorcycle tools to see if I have one.

*edit* I checked my plug sockets. No 14mm or 9/16" plug sockets, even with the 5 motorcycle tool kits that I have. Only have 5/8". I seem to recall needing something smaller than a 5/8 once upon a time for a motorcycle. I don't recall what I used now.
