+1 for Pat, had him work on my car this past Monday and I can say he really knows what he is doing. Also he explains everything in detail and is very friendly! My car pulled a bit to the right and no more pulling and specs are nearly perfect. Will definately go back to him in the future.

Hey,
I will be going to Engineered Automotive this week for an alignment and will provide a thorough review. The pricing is more at the higher end of the spectrum ($250) and usually frequented by the M3/Porsche guys who track a lot and running coils with camber plates.

Other M3 owners referred to me to this place so lemme see what the buzz is all about.

Ya it's quite expensive but honestly I have yet to find a competent shop that can get the specs right with coils and camber plates.

Btw, all you guys that are lowered, what kind of camber are you guys running in the front and rear?

What time does the shop open until? How long did the alignment work take in total?

Thumbs up

1+ for Pat at Altech Automotive, I booked an appointment yesterday afternoon at 2:30 pm and when I arrived, Pat took my key and went for a test drive took him about 30 mins or so to do the alignment and paid $60 cash. He really knows what he's doing and I'll definitely go back.

I also went to Altech, they really know there stuff. It took a little bit longer than I anticipated as they were quite busy when I went (booked an appointment in advance but had to wait 30-40 minutes before they brought my car in.)

Speedstar can do all that for much less. Guess EA charges for a special lube before entry?

Well I got my car done at Altech with Pat and he was very knowledgeable on what he was doing, and I learned that he has a M540i and a Nova drag car.

He also complemented me on my suspension set up which was good to hear, I would recommend him to do any car alignment, really he knows what he is doing!

The best service I had for this, unlike BMW when I had to bring my car to them 3 times before they got it right.

Some pic and the print out.

running st coils...

went abt a week a go and man didn't realize i needed it until i went.

big difference in ride once they were done. The car was rubbing all the time I was thinking to roll my fenders or raise it up a little... pat took a look at my car said after I do the alignment I wont have this issue as much and he was right.
